Dragonair was rebranded into Cathay Dragon in a move to create a more seamless travel experience with Cathay Pacific. Our creative agency was tasked to communicate this to all of the world – with China as a major focus for this campaign. We came up with an idea called "Marriage in the Air".
We reached out to 3 travel influencer couples who competed for the chance to have a wedding onboard a Cathay Dragon flight from Shanghai to Hong Kong. They invited all of China (fans and the public) to RSVP for their weddings through stunt videos which then drove viewers to a campaign site showcasing all the Cathay products and services through wedding plan videos.
I was fortunate enough as the Creative Director to work with many talented people from HK and China on this tremendously challenging campaign. Even more fun was joining this couple on an incredible journey from the beginning.
